You have been jumping at computer models, Warmists. When are you going to start to understand that?
UPDATE: More on the same.

This is not the best way to sway someone in an argument, but dang it, this issue is so full of people jumping off in the wrong direction that it makes suicidal lemmings seem shy, reserved, and steadfast in comparison. SLAPSHOT sent over a link on the GROWTH OF SEA ICE. That is correct, growth, of, sea, ice. But even this article has some of the most atrocious use of the written English language, and this criticism from a man who does not consider himself highly skilled in the art. Consider:
That anomaly had been negative, indicating ice loss, for most of the current decade and reached a historic low in 2007.
That is correct, folks. The amount of sea ice apparently hit an historic low in 2007. HISTORIC! LOW! And Webster’s defines historic as:
a: famous or important in history <historic battlefields> b: having great and lasting importance <a historic occasion> c: known or established in the past <historic interest rates> d: dating from or preserved from a past time or culture <historic buildings> <historic artifacts>
So this sounds important, an HISTORIC LOW IN SEA ICE (doom, doom)! But the article itself points out that the vast history of recording the amount of global sea ice as been going on for nearly ten thousand, five hundred, ninety-two days. Indeed! The numerous bureaucrats in the sea ice amount measuring community have been collecting data on the amount of global sea ice in the seas all around the globe for nearly a whopping 30 years. For a total of thirty seasonal cycles it has been determined that the low point in thirty data samples should be considered a RECORD HISTORIC LOW. Mr. Fu has spend more time writing this article to this points than it would require him to analyze and reduce this data.
And here it the crusher in all of this. The source of all the doom and gloom about the impending man-made global wamring disaster are just computer models that keep getting it wrong:
“Not anticipated by any current climate model?” What the heck does that mean? The computer models are not anticipating correctly? I thought these models were created by the most brilliant minds! How could they have deceived us so, with their faulty computer models? What other predictions are they getting wrong? The predictions of an ever rising, Earth killing temperature increase? Of Obama’s ability to single handedly make the economy better?
Funny how most of the crap gets rammed through the courts as legislation, rather than say the legislatures. Mr. Fu, being a minority of one, is all for minority rights. But changing societal institutions cannot be forced by four people, whatever their sentiments or position. For there to be a legitimate change in a social institution, society kind of has to demand the change, are be given the chance to reject it in this case.
Whether you choose to believe it or not, certain social institutions have been created over the centuries to protect people in society. It does not take a rocket scientist to review recent history and come up with a dozen ways in which the disruption of historic institutions has brought pain, misery, and death to many people in our society.
SLAPSHOT digs up a doozy, the first oil refinery to be built in the United States of American since 1976 has passed zoning a vote in Union County, South Dakota. The measure passed 58% for to 42% against. The Save Union County (interesting ACRONYM, SUC!) group which opposes the refinery promises regulatory delays and lawsuits.
While Mr. Fu sympathizes with the complaints of some of the citizens, the question remains, who is going to get the refineries? This is like an upscaled water treatment plant, we need them but very few people want them in their back yard. But something will be done in this country to fix the price of high gasoline. The short term answer is domestic production and refining. Mr. Fu is willing to bet the same people opposing this refinery have complained about the high price of gasoline and diesel fuel. That is irony.
There are complaints about the smell, one comment is,“Ever drive through the oil country in Kansas, Oklahoma, or Texas? The smell is very strong.” Ah, wow, you live in like South Dakota, not like there are not feed lots in South Dakota, and they smell just as bad or worse.
Mr. Fu suspects that even if they were talking about putting in a melt-down proof, non-smelling, non-polluting, non-radioactive emitting nuclear power plant that these same people would complain. There are always complainers and always some reason not to do something that is of benefit. As some British politician quoted some poet regarding the attitudes of some liberal, “The dogs bark, but the caravan moves on.”
How do you counter the nuttery of outted socialist/communists like Maxine “We Will Take Over Your Business” Waters? With CAPITALISM, of course! And one word that spells CAPITALISM, freedom, and America, is BACON. If you do not help squash the attempts of these would be tyrants to take over the oil industry, take away firearms, and tell you what you can and cannot eat, then this wonderful, freedom-to-eat-what-you-want site will be one of the first victims, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Fu presents The Grateful Palate featuring the Bacon of the Month Club! Consume a pig and help fight tyranny now!
Doom and gloom, Walter Williams covers some of the history of doomsday predictions.
Did Gorbachev put out a contract on John Paul II? Mr. Fu would not be surprised, the communist bastards. At least they knew who their real enemies were. Not like he was putting out contracts on Ted Kennedy or Jimmy Carter.
Half past Mohammed? It is not finger poppin’ time, it is Mecca facing time (MFT).
Yeah…. Right….
Good golly, Children’s Hospital Boston is giving drugs to children to delay puberty so the children can decide whether they want a male or female body. What rough beast slouched into this hospital distributing this as a good idea? Children are going to decide what sex they want to be? This is an obvious GOOD IDEA, because children, as we know, have vast amounts of experience and huge intellects which, especially the ones approaching puberty, are not encumbered by hormones and such.
To quote Hudson, “Why don’t you put her in charge?”
Or should that have been “put him/her in charge?” Mr. Fu knew that age qualification for President was some kind of anti-youth scam!
And why has he not sent any good Fu-fodder since the last Absolut incident? But he is more deadly now, so be careful! Congratulations to SLAPSHOT on his recent deadliness increase. Level up! Obviously he is too busy at the gym to hunt down juicy material on the Internet.
Eminent domain used to benefit private individuals or companies sucks. It is business people. You want the land? Make an offer they cannot refuse. Everyone has a price. Let Mr. Fu repeat that, everyone has a price. Even a morally acceptable price, at least when it comes to land deals. For other kinds of deals you would have to consult Elliot Spitzer, Mr. Fu knows little of such transactions.
Another SLAPSHOT contribution. Heck, I am just adding a label.
